Cornwallis Community Garden

South Broadway Ave, Cornwallis, Nova Scotia

Located on the corner of Brig Lane and South Broadway Avenue in the village of Cornwallis Park, the Cornwallis Community Garden Association has over six years of attracting community involvement in community gardening. It was established to facilitate transfer of gardening skills, experience, knowledge and expertise to other generations.

The CCGA has partnered with the local Fundy YMCA, the Clark Rutherford Elementary School, the Annapolis West Education Centre and the Digby Regional High School as well as Wild Rose Farm (organic), Hope Seeds and Acadian Seaplants to share information and encourage learning in all generations. On any given day you may see a two year old toddler digging their first trench or speak with an 85 year old enjoying the peaceful surroundings of the garden or in the accompanying orchard.

With the addition of a driveway, a parking area and several high raised beds

April – November (winter gardening being planned)

We are wheelchair accessible and allowed pets to enjoy our space under supervision of the owners.
